Labor Day Links: 360 HDR, the GigaPanBot, and the DNC

Since releasing HD View 3, I’ve started getting links to some great new 360 HDR content.  The combination of 360 and HDR really shines in HD View.  Click here for a full page of examples from Bernhard Vogl, and here for an example from Greg Downing.

Traugott Emrich has put together a large gallery of HD View content on his site.  Click here for some great images of the Czech Republic.  The imagery is hosted on gigapan.org.  Traugott is using our new kml support to link his page to gigapan’s servers.  Also, even though the name is very similar, he is not using a gigapan unit.  Rather, he has built his own custom pan/tilt head that he calls the GigaPanBot.  So far, the results look really good.

And finally, MSNBC has posted a large HD View panorama taken from the floor of Invesco Field during the Democratic National Convention.
